Biomechanics and Running Assessment

A component of our sports science lab, using high speed 2D motion capture system to collect data on your running, cutting and jumping mechanics. Using this technology, we provide a clear breakdown of your movement and how it relates to your overall function and any injuries you may have.

Biofeedback

In the context of injury prevention, rehabilitation and sports performance, biofeedback training is the use of surface electromyography (sEMG) to monitor and track the electrical activity produced when activating the target muscle(s).  Decreased activity is indicative of poor muscle function, especially if there is an injury present, and can hinder daily activities, result in further injury, or prevent you from performing at your peak potential.  The use of this technology in conjunction with your exercise program will assist us in identifying underlying issues and use a visual feedback system to promote appropriate muscle recruitment to allow you to reach your full potential.

3D Batting

Analysis

K-Baseball is a 3D data collection system that allows us to capture swing data for a player.  This data is then used to evaluate and understand how a player moves in space to create their swing. This individualized data is used to create a customized training protocol which we use to help reduce the chance of injury and increase performance.  The goal is to create a better, faster, and stronger athlete that is more resilient and can sustain a long and prosperous athletic career.

QB Throwing

Analysis

MotusQB is a wearable technology that allows us to capture raw 3D movement data of the throwing arm of a quarterback. This data is then used to evaluate and understand how a player moves in space during their throw.   This individualized data is used to create a customized training protocol which we use to help reduce the chance of injury and increase performance.  The goal is to create a better, faster, and stronger athlete that is more resilient and can sustain a long and prosperous athletic career.
